FEDERAL POLYTHENIC NASARAWA WON GOLD AT ONGOING NIPOGA

The basketball event came to a successful ending at the ongoing Nigeria Polythenic games (NIPOGA) 2022 tagged Owo 2022 with The Federal Polythenic Nasarawa winning gold in the male category and Kaduna state polythenic won the female category.

The event started on monday 16th January 2023 ended on the Friday 20th January 2023 with much fun and tension as the two finals Yaba polythenic from Lagos and Federal Polythenic Nasarawa gave the fan the beautiful game to behold.

Earlier, Polythenic of Ibadan defeated Delta state polythenic Otefe Oghara in the female category to win bronze, while Kaduna state polythenic show superiority over Isa Mustapha Agwai polythenic LAFIA to win the gold medal.

Kaduna state polythenic overrun Ibadan polythenic to win bronze while Yaba polythenic gave a good account of themselves but lost narrowly to Federal Polythenic Nasarawa.

Addressing the the coaches and officials after the 5days even, Dr. Akeredolu who is the Director of coaching and head coach of Ibadan polythenic, who also double as the basketball coordinator express satisfaction with the games played and appreciate all teams present.

The event has Rufus Giwa polythenic male and female team, Delta state polythenic Otefe Oghara, Kaduna state polythenic male and female, Ibadan polythenic male and female, Isa Mustapha Agwai polythenic LAFIA, Federal Polythenic Nasarawa, Auchi state polythenic, Federal Polythenic Nekede, Jigawa state Polythenic, Yaba polythenic male and female.
