NPFL: OUR THREE POINTS CAN NOT BE TAKING- Depreye

The coach of the newly promoted bayelsa united has said it categorically that IMC can not just remove their three point like that.

The coach of the yenagoa based club said this in a chat with newsmen immediately after the club 1-0 loss to sunshine stars of Akure at the Ondo state sport complex in Akure.

"It was a very good game today, even though I didn't get a point to take home but our boys played well, both teams gave a good account of themselves, but injury has not been fair with us as we have some of our key players down to injury but we will bounce back soonest"

When asked about the officiating and the 3 point deduction by the IMC, Depreye replied "the officiating here today was superb and the best, the referee gave a very good account of himself and the game was balanced"

"On the 3 point deduction, I don't have anything to say, but we have appeal and we are await Interim Management Committee final decision, but I am sure that after our appeal and all things look into, our 3 point will be return and we can continue from their"

Bayelsa united are 8th on the log of group B and will be playing the defending championship Rivers united in their next home match in Yenagoa
