Sunshine Stars Football Club yesterday strolled past Bayelsa United with four minutes lone goal in the matchday six of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) decided at Ondo State Sports complex,Akure. Chukwudi Stephen gave Sunshine Stars the lead in the 4th minute after he nodded to the top corner of the net from a cross. Kayode Bankole has been named Remo star’s January player of the month After an impressive start to the new season of the Nigeria Premier Football League where the team talented Golie kept three clean sheet in four games. Remo stars so far has gained 12pts out of possible 15 points, losing just one game so far,the ikenne based team had earlie shortlisted three other players for the best player of the month award which includes Andy Okpe who scored the winning goal in Remo star’s away victory over Gombe Utd where he also won the man of the match.
